Hybrid AF Therapy Program – Amsterdam, the Netherlands
The program is either led by a faculty of an Electrophysiologist and a Cardiac surgeon, or AtriCure's Professional Education team. The comprehensive program includes both didactic sessions and the opportunity to perform the procedure on a beating heart simulation training model. The specialized curriculum is designed to facilitate data and experience exchange, providing peer-to-peer led training that incorporates patient selection, pre-and post-operative management, the latest clinical evidence, and procedural techniques.
At the end of this program, you will be able to discuss how to start a Hybrid AF Therapy Program at your hospital and how to proceed with your first scheduled cases. Trainers will share best practices and explain how to improve procedural efficiency and clinical efficacy. Peer to Peer (Case Observations)
This one-day program allows healthcare professionals to observe 1-2 live cases in various locations depending on the ablation technique that they are interested in learning. AtriCure recognizes the importance to observe, having discussions about the specific ablation strategy with practitioners from hospitals with extensive experience, learn about best patient selection and follow-up. In the majority of the training centers, attendees are able to scrub in. Please note that some training centers will only be able to accommodate two attendees at a time. This restriction is due to the importance of observation during clinical cases and hospital regulations.
Program offering:
- Concomitant ablation (open chest or minimally invasive approach) featuring Cryo or/ and RF energy, LAA management
- TT-ablation (bi-lateral, left or right side)
- Hybrid AF Therapy
