Isolator Transpolar Pen
Proven Unidirectional Lesion Formation

The Isolator Transpolar Pen creates reliable transmural lesions at predictable depths.

  • Bipolar pen offered to both ablate cardiac tissue and evaluate conduction block.
  • Pace. Sense. Stimulate. Ablate. All with the same device.
  • Semi-rigid shaft provides stable contact with target epicardium yielding desired pressure when creating lesion.
  • “Pen-Point” accuracy delivers predictable energy for creating connecting lesions—where you want them, when you want them.
  • Toggle to locate and ablate triggers without repositioning.

Indication (Australia, Belarus, Chile, EU Region, Kuwait, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, UAE, UK)

The Isolator™ pen is a sterile, single use electrosurgery device intended to ablate cardiac tissue during cardiac surgery using radiofrequency (RF) energy when connected directly to the ASU or ASB3 in Ablation mode. The Isolator™ pen may be used for temporary cardiac pacing, sensing, recording, and stimulation during the evaluation of cardiac arrhythmias during surgery when connected to a temporary external cardiac pacemaker or recording device.

Indication (Brazil, Hong Kong)

The Isolator™ Transpolar™ Pen is a sterile, single use electrosurgery device intended to ablate cardiac tissue during cardiac surgery using radiofrequency (RF) energy when connected directly to the ASU or to the ASU Source Switch in Ablation mode. When the Pen is connected to the ASU Source Switch in Auxiliary mode, it may be used for temporary cardiac sensing, recording, stimulation, and temporary pacing during the evaluation of cardiac arryhthmias.

Indication (Japan)

This device is intended for use in ablation of cardiac tissue during surgery by use of high-frequency current.

Indication (Argentina, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Korea, Russia, South Africa)

The Isolator™ Transpolar™ pen is a sterile, single use electrosurgery device intended for the ablation of soft tissues using bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy during General, ENT, Thoracic, Gynecology, and Urology surgical procedures.
